City of Nichols Hills Police Crime Alert!

Both the Nichols Hills Police Department and Fire Department have recently received inquiries from residents and merchants in Nichols Hills concerning telephone solicitors who are calling asking for donations and claiming that all or part of the money collected goes directly to the Nichols Hills Police and Fire Departments.

Often the solicitors will claim to be Nichols Hills police or firemen. Many times the calling party is calling from out of state. The only legitimate sanctioned organization that solicits on behalf of the Nichols Hills Police and Fire Department is Nichols Hills Crime Prevention Inc. which is a 501C-3 tax exempt organization and 100% of the funds collected go directly to the police and fire departments that serve Nichols Hills.

Nichols Hills Crime Prevention Inc. does not solicit funds via telephone. If you receive a phone call or text message or e-mail from someone claiming to solicit funds on behalf of your police and fire department, please feel free to contact the police or fire department for verification.
